I think that eggs and soldiers are the most fun way to eat eggs. My mum would make them for us when we were growing up. An egg cup is essential for holding the egg.
If you are not familiar with this breakfast of champions then here you go…
Make a pan of water boil. Get your toast in the toaster. Add eggs to boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and run under cold water for a few seconds to make peeling easier. Tap the top with the back of a teaspoon and peel off the top 1/3. Spoon off the white on top to reveal the yolk. The yolk should be deliciously runny. In come he soldiers… strips of buttered toast. Dip! Rejoice! My kids love this as much as I do.

My pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. I high fire them until they’re vitrified, around 2350°F.
